I have tweaked it a little bit. Redefine Marginable Equity as EQUITY less nonmarginable stock and short-sale credit. I think the mtce percent comes out right now. Todays marginable equity would be 126572 less 0 (nonmarginable stock) less 6982 (short sale credit) = 119590. Plug that into your mtce equity formula and I think it will work. I did a "what if" purchase using the 13304 Buying Power and it reduced Mtce Eq % to 50%. I hope it's right. Attention accountants with sharp pencils!! What do you think...
