Doug: That's about the same time I last lived in Brazil, too. I am bullish on TBR mostly because 1) of the repressed demand in Brazil and 2)the stable economic situation . I just e-mailed friends at the Telebras Research Lab (where I used to be) to get their input. Will report on that. I recall they had a lot of talented people there. However, I'm concerned with lots of government-induced overhead and inefficiency. That should go away in the privatization. With the govt out of the picture, I expect efficiency to improve.
