Ratan:
Short squeezes are ALWAYS a possibility, especially in this mad world. You'd need deep pockets....deep enough to buy a pile of this rubbish, or you'd need partners,...partners you could trust. In this situation, trust would be hard to come by. Would it work? For a bit, yes, but the bulk of the panda type bears are gone. There are more grizzly and polar types in there now. They won't be shooed away from the carcass that easily. For many funds, it wouldn't be worth the risks, or the possible SEC lunch meetings that might ensue. It's a NY trade (a joke - G) Exit isn't terribly expensive yet so an exit makes more sense. (That last word is the weakness of my argument.)

I'm not trying to minimize the short squeeze risk, because it's very legitimate in this environment. I'm just saying that the bears will stay in the neighbourhood.
Best, Earlie.
