I agree. The way I figure is that at this time everyone has discounted all the possible bad news that migh come out of LSI. INTC, VLSI, CPQ,ROK, ... have all warned. So I figure anyone who really wanted to jump ship would have done it by now (at least as far as LSI is concerned), so I see the downside at minimal (perhaps another 10% at the most). Eventhough I have more LSI shares than I really care to have right now my greed is telling me to buy and to go ahead and make its day!!

Still sitting on about 65-66% cash waiting for the blood to start running the streets with high techs sometime by the end of May, and if I am wrong oh well... I guess I will then have to put my money into use at a bit higher prices than now, but at least I psychologically can sleep better at night knowing of all bad news that Q1 earnings report would forcast with regard to Asia and Y2K!

Regards,

Addi Jamshidi

I rarely post anything, but LSI is not acting the way I would expect.
Did I miss something or did it make absolutely no difference to the street to see Sega Saturn close up shop and quit the playstation market? Does this not mean that LSI should do even Better than expected since it supplies Sony playstation chips and Sony playstation will have even less competition now that Sega gave up and could not compete with it? All ideas are welcome. Thanks, Rolf
