Van it was not a personal comment and meant to clarify a view You continue your argument from post to post , though most of it is based on your short position , AND you have taken a position as a investment. Those two traits are admirable in a short . My post was meant to offer to you or others considering a short position that there are events not found in TA which could burn you between now and 4/22/98 . You did not post misleading info on Mr. Cannavino or seek to utilize that erroneous information . I wish you the best in your investment position and your "basket" strategy is defensively good. "why does everyone get so emotional...like the mkt cares what either of us say" You'd be surprised how much influence each one of us have provided that we back up our opinion with solid analysis. I don't dare to think that we can move the market. After all we're no Robert Morgan are we?<gg> but in the long run I think what we say do matter. When one presents interesting and logical insight about AAPL on SI you can expect to see it echoed throughout the Mac community within weeks. The AAPL Q2 estimate page received over 16,000 hits since it was first posted in mid Feb. macevolution.com Even though the effect may be small, I like to think that it has improved investor awareness and confidence. Let go my ego. ;-) Eric
