Re -- K6 or having it as the low end since it is a bit smaller than the 3D.

I think that the K6 should be low end, because it WEIGHS less than the 3D.

that could be. I recall their old road-map that went from k6 to k6-3d to k6-3d+ to k7. I think that amd is way behind with their 3d road-map due to low yields. If AMD is on schedule with k7 (I hope that they are) that would shortened the initially projected life of 3d chips.
Like I said I do not have a crystal ball. Those are just my thoughts.
