My Question to You:

>>>"Should we call the chairman of the 6.5 billion dollar Acer Corp, and ask if he thinks Lair can get this part of the business straight? "<<<

Your Question to me:

>>>While you're at it, ask why Lair is no longer there, and - the key question "would you want him back"?

Fair is fair.<<<

Jon, let's do it--do you have such a connection that will get us through? I note from someone lifting one of your prior postings that you're in with the "veterans."

Let's use the small world theory, that everybody knows somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody (we all know that everybody knows Hayton, of course). But can you find out why Mr. Lair is no longer personal advisor to Mr. Stan Shih, chairman of Acer Corp?

I don't know any of those details, but would love to learn what your veteran friends can help you discover. I'm not a veteran, but I'll speculate: Could it be: a) He didn't like being a Texan in Taiwan; or b) He thought being, on his own, CEO of a ground-breaking movie-interactive commerce company just might well be an exciting thing to do, particularly if he gets to live in California where we all wanna be.

I did the best I could without the phone call. I'd venture to say you've got more dimes. You make the call!
