"Your rhetoric is unhelpful. I believe there are very few evil people in the world"

Do you think God made a mistake when he sent His Son to die for what he saw as a sinful and evil humanity. According to Gods' Word, we have all sinned and come short of the glory of God. Doesn't that mean that all men are evil without the sacrifice of Christ making them righteous.

I truly enjoyed your thoughtful response, but it truth mixed with error. If we apply your reasoning to Jesus and the Holy Spirit and their words, we would find them lacking in love. That should tell you something about your thoughts. Jesus and the Holy Spirit spoke extremely harsh words against unbeliving and false jews--'you are of your father the devil...they that say they are Jew and are not but are the Synagogue of Satan... etc.

Dear Sir:

Pleae allow me to make a one observations about your comments.
>>>>>>I believe there are very few evil people in the world and most of the people we believe are evil are just are fellow frail humans struggling imperfectly with the world. The only proper response to such people is compassion and forgiveness. Ye who is without sin cast the first stone. I believe accusations of satanic influences are wrong and have the destructive influence of goading weak minds to the action that is so troubling Nancy. <<<<<<<

Mat 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye do not even the publicans the same.

My one point is that yes we are to have love and compassion for those who would hate and revile us as in Mat 5:11 Blesses are ye when men shall revile you and persecute you and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.
But you have to understand that either someone is born of the spirit or born of the flesh. The flesh is evil and is contrary to God. Take your pick you get one choice. The spirit is of God and is not contrary to God.

If I am witnessing to someone, the original nature of someone the original nature given to all men in Eden can be seen, I believe in all men there is good; moreso in some than others; but that is not the question.

The question is can you really separate the good from the evil? That is just not possible; anymore than you can separate the one drop of blue dye you put into a gallon of water. When God said he would lay on Christ "the iniquity of us all", he meany that; the evil in every person and there is evil in every person; as long as we are in this earthly vessel there will still continue to be evil in us all Christians included. That is why my savoir is alive, still interceding on my behalf, for all eternity. That is why Paul said that he was saved, is saved and will be saved; to think otherwise is against the word of God...In Christ.gregor
