Is technology and "connectivity" a friend or foe of the political powers that be in Malaysia and SE Asia?
In other words, will the governments there actively discourage advancements in technology?

The things we take for granted in the U.S. The pity is, few Americans appreciate the fact of being American and living in the U.S. ... in general Americans are a pretty unhappy lot. What irony. Well, whatever it takes to get them to buy PCs. <g>
