Bill, Yeah, from what I've seen of UNIX interfaces they are pretty good. Still need some command line but once you get into the app it's usually graphic. It's still $ (up front and maintenence) that counts for me. Here's more ammo for MacOPhiles: techweb.com Your right about the bus speed being critical, that's what I'm concerned about. I'm just a speed nut. The bus they use now must be pretty cheap as they've been using it for a long time and seem resistant to change it. It's probably affecting sales to some degree. I know I'm waiting, for how long I don't know, probably until I can no longer wait. Doren
