All that stuff is a long way off from being practical. Let's face it, it's a lot easier, and it will continue to be a lot easier, to just pick up the phone book and do the same thing. But isn't Cidco planning to charge $5 per month for those who want iPhone access to their current ISP? That would seem to be a very lucrative revenue stream down the road, if millions of iPhones are sold, and most of them are used as kitchen access devices for AOL/ATT/Earthlink/etc, along with the main access device elsewhere in the house, the PC.
