Checking out Scott Miller's profile, it say he's been a member since Feb 19, 1998. Is that 30 days ago? Does this mean the "let's kick scooter around" party is over? Noooooo, say it ain't so! Come on down, from the clouds and pay that FEEEEEE! Share the wealth, you'll feel better.

It some guys working out of garage, not a major corporation. It takes 10 seconds and a credit card, for an eternity of posts. Think of the peace of mind, not to mention true nirvana of stock manipulation you will achieve. How could you turn your back on such a great deal!

Think about it Scott. You'll be able to recruit other firms for Gathering just by posting here. And you can always say "Well, gee, I was just trying to provide some non-insider, publicly available G.O.D. website 10 commandants on how to stick it to gready robber barron ripoff-artist publishers (who will of course go nameless, as long as they are publishing our games, but draw your own conclusions), as written by me, to one of my fellow game developers." Wwwaaaaaa, you are unbelievably transparent! WHO ARE YOU KIDDING????

Oh, well. It's been real. It's been fun. But it's not been real fun.

So long, Scotty, enjoy your heavenly gaze...

--- Myst Returns To Top Spot ---
By Aaron Ricadela, Computer Retail Week

Game buyers returned Myst to the top spot among PC entertainment titles
during the week ended March 1, according to the most recent weekly
sales information from PC Data.

Unit sales of the prior week's most popular game, Jedi Knight:
Mysteries of the Sith, by LucasArts Entertainment, fell almost 60.9
percent during the last week in February, dropping it from the top 10.
Myst was the best-selling game through most of January and February,
trading places at the top with its sequel, Riven. For the week ended
March 1, Riven sales were down 20.6 percent, dropping it to No. 10.

Myst added unit sales of 14.7 percent for the week, outselling the No.
2 title, Cendant Software's Titanic: Adventure Out of Time. Titanic
sales were up 39.1 percent from the previous week, as retailers
continued to promote the 2-year-old game. The title, which had all but
disappeared from stores before Cendant's Sierra On-Line label
resurrected it to capitalize on the hit movie Titanic, sold for an
average retail price of $38 during the week ended March 1, said
Herndon, Va.-based PC Data.

Mindscape's Chessmaster 5500 posted the week's largest unit sales
increase, up 539.6 percent. It was the seventh best-selling title at
retail for the week. A Mindscape spokeswoman said the company isn't
promoting the title, but recent positive reviews in the computer press
may have affected sales.

Also recording large unit sales increases were Cendant's Sierra Pro
Pilot, up 235.8 percent to No. 3; GT Interactive Software's Deer
Hunter/Wild Turkey Hunt bundle, up 175.6 percent at No. 6; and the
original Deer Hunter SKU, which sold 114.4 percent more units than in
the prior week, and finished as the eighth best-seller.

In the educational software market, titles in Cendant Software's Fisher
Price, JumpStart, and Blaster lines held eight of the top 10 spots.
Cendant's Math Blaster Ages 4 to 6 took over best-seller status from
the publisher's Fisher Price Ready for School, which led kids' software
sales for most of the year. Math Blaster sales jumped 223.1 percent,
while Ready for School fell 25.5 percent in unit sales.

GT Interactive's Humongous Entertainment label had the No. 3 kids'
title for the week with Freddi Fish 3: The Case of the Stolen Conch
Shell, which gained almost 200 percent in unit sales.
