Vinman, perhaps they are blushing because your fly is open. LOL. Making predictions about YHOO can be equally embarrassing. From one YHOO bear to another, I'd suggest you enjoy the downturns without making bold predictions.

Good fortune to you,
Bob

If the Internet is the hottest thing since sliced bread, why does Yahoo have so many salespeople and such a large marketing expense. If it is as good as everyone says it is, advertisers should be lining up for miles. The product should sell itself.

Wait until MSFT gets involved in this business. The key question that all the bulls must ask themselves. What are the barriers to entry? Are they enforceable? Do the early leaders have the financial and strategic resources to withstand assaults on all fronts?

Also, why do these companies have so much excess inventory (ad space availability). Last time I checked, it was at 78-80 % excess capacity. From an economic standpoint, excess capacity means lower ad prices in the future. Finally, do you ever question how effective internet advertising really is?

I see ads all the time about speculation, but this stock is on another level. Everything in life eventually will trade for what it is truly worth. For anyone buying this stock, exercise extreme caution, because you will wake up one day and see this and other high-flyers crashing down below you.

This is another Tulipmania and the risks are just not worth the potential rewards. .
