<<Why is it you have trouble accepting that I have changed my mind in the face of factual evidence? >>

Because it isn't consistent with the hype spun on this thread.

As I mentioned previously, I was long a very large chunk of this stock for a year and a half. Biggest investing mistake of my life. I even spoke with Par on the phone once. He seemed believable at the time. But subsequent events have made it clear to me that this company has no credible plan, other than to issue more stock.

Once again, I urge everybody to call FIBR and ask for a transcript or tape recording of the September 1996 conference call. Listen to the extreme bullishness. Then compare to what has actually happened since then. It will be a sobering experience.

The barrage of negative media is beside the point. All I ever cared about was financial results. The company gets a D- in that regard.

Barb, don't pat yourself on the back too hard there.

"Let's see, I believe I have made 2 recent calls on this thread, that it was a good buy at 2 5/32 near the start of the year, and that it was a good sell the morning after earnings, which should have enabled any so inclined to get out over 5"

It's too bad you didn't stick it out:

no sour grapes here, i have made some very attractive purchases since the beginning of this year after having been out of fibr from mid=96. for a contrarian like myself i am willing to place bets in these shares at current levels after having bought size in early jan. of this year. a careful review of your posts does not in any way back up your statements, it does in fact show that the contrarian who uses common sense could do well taking the opposite side of your alleged trade dates
