Addi, whenever a company misses earnings by a couple pennies and the stock tanks, investors scratch their heads and wonder "What the hell is a few pennies for a company like ______ (fill in your own favorite) and sooner rather than later it bounces right back. That is because the Big Picture of the Future is where the headlights are shining.

Now, in the current situation (Asia, etc) companies warn of shortfalls and the stocks (for the most part) don't react much or stay the same, which means that the investors with Long Vision are believers and hold the reins.

You can't have it both ways, someone's always unhappy.

BTW, most of the companies that have warned have had their stocks whacked. There's no reason for Lucent or Sun to go down along with Compaq or Intel's ship. It's a selective game right now.

Good luck,

Paul
