Whoa!!! "Grows rapidly"?????

Check out the revenues for the past six quarters:

Sept 96 $190,000

Dec 96 $460,000

Mar 97 $920,000

Jun 97 $2,000,000

Sep 97 $1,800,000

Dec 97 $1,500,000

This is not growth. This is quarter over quarter declining sales.
It means that much of the product shipped in Jun 97 is still sitting
on shelves (at best) or returned to the manufacturer. At the height
of the marketing blitz, UFEM was spending $8 for every $1 in sales.

As I figure it, UFEM no longer has any money and mounting debt.
It is gone, done, and over. $30 million in advertising resulted
in at best $6 million in sales.

bnielson, I am taking a look at getting some shares in this company. Could you give me the number you have for the company? The one on the thread header doesn't seem right.

TIA

Rob.

I got the number. I decided to get some shares. It looks like this one is bouncing off the 1/4 low. I don't know how high it will bounce, but, I'm going to roll the dice here.

Could you elaborate on your call to NY office
1# Who did you talk with ?
2# Did they mention the name of the lending company ?
3# Did they elaborate on sales figures since summer ?
4# do they still have their Wal-Mart account ?
I wish this company was more open with news and intentions.
I have watched this one since its IPO, And have at
times had an investment there.
I still have an interest in the future of UFEM and
would like to see them do well.
