do any of you see this as a buying opportunity for a new player in CVUS? seems it can't go much lower, and it has meaningful upside in the value of it's licenses. As a new player, my entry would be here.Thoughts??Thanks.

ray,

From the October 28, 1997 PR release which also announced the leasing of more sites for antennas :

<<Unlike other wireless technologies, CVUS' service is not dependent on line-of-sight to the customer. Instead, CVUS can utilize reflections or bounces that are particularly prevalent in dense urban areas like New York City.

"We knew when we began to build out New York, that our use of LMDS technology would provide us with a substantial competitive advantage over other wireless technologies," said Patrick Greaney, president and chief operating officer of CellularVision USA. "In fact, nearly half of our Internet customers in Manhattan, receive their service via a bounced signal, in some cases via multiple bounces."

If we believe the above, LOS 'don't make no never mind'....
