From Benjamin: I'm still here! Sorry I haven't been more available of late, but we are hitting one of those stages where no matter how much we all work, there is just not enough time in the week. I've left the office after 9:00pm every night since we got back from the Florida conference. I am anxious to see revenues catch up with efforts so we can hire a few extra people. We are at least 5 people short as of today (of a staff of 22.) But I refuse to increase fixed overhead until we see an increase in capital reserves. I'd like to have access to nearly unlimited capital like the people at FTEL, but I think our shareholders would have a cow to see us take on that kind of debt or incur the devasting dilution. Perhaps I can check in a little more in the near future and keep everyone up to date. What's keeping us so busy? Where do I start? a. I had to replace my personal assistant during the first week of March due to husband's transfer - that slowed down my office's efficientcies quite a bit. Just now getting up to speed again. b. At the Florida conference, we were offered a major, major offer to have Thinkology featured in a Product Feature section called Show & Tell in the education market's largest magazine AT NO COST! The Editor said that she wanted to help Heartsoft as an up and coming publisher with the distribution of Thinkology - They said last company who they featured in the section sold over 1,000 products at a price of $400! c. We had huge backlog of orders waiting for the Thinkology trilogy release (all 3 volumes) and the final assembly of the packaging under such completion deadlines was very, very high. d. We have districts all over the country who are considering adopting Thinkology district wide who HAD to see the Trilogy in order to make final decisions on purchasing. e. Received word just tonight that another $17,000 district sale has been confirmed. We are pushing to receive the many, many pending PO's but schools spend their money when they want to spend it and at their speed. SCHOOLS WORK IN MYSTERIOUS WAYS!!! f. We are having to redesign and print nearly $50,000 in image printing (letterhead, business cards, and on and on) as well as promitional materials in a HUGE rush to position ourselves to close these pending orders nation wide. Our old corpoate image was WAY below standard compared to competitors going after the same school $$$. Expanding sales organization is sending ouT 75-100 major sales packages a day. g. Beginning Thursday, March 26, 1998, we will be hosting a light dinner at the office for shareholders and pending local investors and even larger out-of-state instituional firms, etc. who are beginning to take notice now that Thinkology is out. Sorry for all the details, but I could go on and on for another 30 minutes. Needless to say - we are filling the pipeline and Thinkology has made us a whole new company. There is no way to predict what will happen or even the timing of when the rest of the world will figure out what we are up to... One last thing, we are suppose to have 3 additional full product reviews in top trade mags in April!!! Perhaps some one could be electws to give me a call, identify yourself so you can get past our pit-bull receptionist and my personal assistant and I could give more details which could be relayed to everyone else here on SI. Everyone at Heartsoft is grateful for all of your support - who know's when the word will hit the street? Warmest regards, Benjamin
