NAW...cldn't be...ALTIF reads SI! Noticed they did NOT address the floorless convertible as the only way they could jiggle "financing"? Besides, why sell here, when the floorless convertible will shove the price down so that the insider's can do the white knight big and make a big Peter Munk like splash shoring up the stock? Oh, and while I'm asking questions? How could a pre-feasibility study be "almost ready" when they won't announce who is conducting it or calculating the resource? Oh GOD, puleeze don't tell folks it is the same Kilborn Engineering that did the Bre-X resource calcs... Credentials will be provided after the report is released? What kind of mickey mouse is this? SEC form 144 (intended sale of restricted securities/stock by an insider) was filed by an insider on March 24th. This insider must be really panicky - this can only harm the morale of the battered longs. Filing this form does not necessarily mean that it will be followed by insider selling - however I found the timing for this filing unusual considering that ALTIF came out with a PR (on March 18) with the following comment - "It is not the intent of any Altair insiders to sell into a declining market," said Dr. Long Over the next week I am expecting to see evidence to reinforce my prediction of future downside - The March Short interest should show an increase over February. - ALTIF should be filing their 10-K anyday now. Even though this is for the year ending September 30,1997 - they must report any significant changes in the stock ownership from the close of the qtr/year to the day of filing - We should see proof that the debentures are yet to be converted.
