I agree, authentication, encryption and VPN are going to have to step up in a very big way over the next couple of years. In my opinion, TIS was the best game in town. It filled in alot of technology/product gaps. You mention PKI; well, TIS has a very well-established key recovery system (RecoverKey) in addition to the firewll, VPN and intrusion detection stuff.

As far as CHKPF goes, an Israeli security company is sounds like an oxymoron to me . That's certainly one way to ensure that you never sell a product to the U.S. Government. Price was definitely prohibitive there, but there would definitely be other considerations. Look at the irony, didn't an Israeli student just get arrested for hacking the Pentagon?

It's also important to note that only about 10% of NETA's business is retail. Wall Street might yawn at anti-virus, but selling 5,000+ nodes of VirusScan into the enterprise at 90% gross margins ain't too shabby.

Cheers,

Terry
