Maybe it's not that Newbridge lost a contract. Article doesn't sound like FORE actually was awarded a contract, just announced a partnership/reseller collaboration with DT.

I thought the rumours were that Newbridge was competing with CISCO for an ATM contract. If those were the rumours, it doesn't make sense that that FORE article should have knocked down NN by so much. FORE deal really wasn't a contract, and as someone already has said, FORE should have rallied big time on news that it beat out NN to a contract. I'd like to know what's really going on, before I head home, so if someone finds the corrected article, please post ASAP.

Thanks.

BVH.

Joseph: ALERTS, UPGRADES, DOWNGRADES made by the Brokers are tools used by them to assist their clients in making money often at the expense of the public. Unfortunately, some of these calls are often made unregulated and unsubstantiated.

Apparently, the news todate concerns a Reseller Agreement between DT and FORE. If that is the only news ,I suggest that the STC should verify why this was futher extrapolated.

There's a world of difference between "lost" and "failed to get."
