very well said.. i think the "news" effect is seen in the tech earnings season where TA suffers quite a bit during this period. I've partially elminated this problem by exiting/reducing position one to two days before earnings release date. Works well. but when it comes to earning warnings, boy, they can come anytime <g> thanks again for the post.
