As I mentioned here before, earnings estimates are coming down. This is from Yahoo boards. Yeadon:

"For whatever it is worth, ML has also lowered the estimates.
Here is what they have to say:

As expected, March quarter will be the most challenging quarter
of the calendar year for DIGI...Key factors include weak sales
from MCI due to the planned merger...modest earnings dilution
from the Celcore acquisition...and one month of expenses related
Airspan prior to its divestiture. Therefore we are reducing
our March 1998 quarter ESP from $.20 to $.17 and full year 1998
ESP from $1.20-$1.40 to $1.15-$1.25."

I think ML at 17c is now the Street low for Q1. Note that DSC has not announced a contract in almost a month. I expect estimates for 1999 will also start to come down to around $1.30 or less after Q1 report.
