PII's get cheaper:

news.com

and some news about where chips are headed:
phillynews.com

One point to ponder: Is there a possibilty that IDT might be able to take advantage of copper technology developed at IBM? Let's remember that IBM has the power pc which is a mighty awesome chip but limited only to Macs. If IBM has their thinking caps on , could it be that maybe they will partner or even end up buying IDTI and use the c6 as a blueprint, add the copper technology to the chip and decide to butt heads with Intel? Just a thought that I don't think is too far fetched. But feel free to shoot it down if you think I'm smoking something funny.

"IDTI to sell 5 million chips annually
within two years"...thanks for posting
the Chronicle's article.

"IDTI expects to announce at least
one new PC customer within
TWO weeks"....could that be
ACER, which expects to name
their suppliers sometime
next month??? Once again
the IBM deal would make sense
to show ACER or anyone else that
by the 4th quarter IDTI will
be able to produce as many
chips as they can sell.
