Steve and all,

These days it seems hard to find safe places. MTW could be one safe stock. Compared with AMAT, MTW seems to have more value now:

Growth rate: 20%--25%.

Estimated earnings for '98: $2.66.

Stock may break out soon.

Company has bullish broadcast.

Anybody has comments, please drop by the new MTW thread.

If you have information that shows AMAT's numbers declining in 1999 from some of the analysts I would appreciate seeing those numbers


Steve, I've been requesting the same info for a couple weeks myself. It doesn't exist as of today.
