My P&F chart tells me the next support is at 22.375. The upside resistance is at 24.30, which we have not been able to break over the past two days. I trade with a stochastic-rsi oscillator, and cpq has been at the top of the oversold list for the past week. Normally the stock will reverse when it is this oversold. I am long at a higher price than we are at now. I almost wish it would go to 15.00 so we could all buy more and make a good profit on the way back to 30, but at some point before 15 I think all the experts would start putting buys on it because of price.

Jeff, you may be right about the price being effected by the mm's taking it out of their portfolios before quarter end, but if they haven't performed well then what good excuse do they have unless they have a top notch name in their portfolio thats suffered ???. A great looking portfolio with no performance doesn't fool anyone .. well maybe thats not true !!!. With the size of trades that go through for this stock we know the vast majority are the mm's .... so some are also buying !!!. Also those mm's that got out of Compaq around the 30's cause they knew what was going on can have the best of both worlds by dressing down their portfolios by buying Compaq before monthend, yet show decent gains. Its all a game...........!!!.
I bought again at 24 and will continue also ... Good trading/investing!!
