I used a Mac until 89-90 for making full page ads, then I went to Pagemaker on the Wintels, and it crashed less than on the Mac. Almost the same operations and I still use the old program to write letters etc., as I am so used to it. I think it is up to 7 or 8 now. Mine is PM4.

Gmccon,

I use both platforms. Both crash. Wintels crash more. Macs are really plug and play and come with a SCSI. Wintels have a larger software base, especially high end 3D animation. Macs are more efficient and versatel. Wintel machines are harder to maintain. Macs have better color and run QT movies better. Macs read most Wintel files.
I like Macs better but would buy a Wintel if I thought I'd make more $ with it, althoug I'd keep my Mac to put stuff together. I do graphic design and 3D.

Any other questions?
