Scott, Where do you get 1999? Doesn't take any great translation to interpret: "Unlike in the recent past, Zenith aims to register about $60 million in operating profits this year."

$60 million is realistic based on:

1. STP sales to Americast and the Latin America DBS company should pick up soon.

2. In April, Zenith will be the sole seller of Divx with no competition until this summer when RCA enters.

3. TV sales are up this year with better industry supply management and firmer prices in a number of categories.

4. Also in April, Zenith begins sales of its overhead HDTV receiver/decoder.

5. In August, Zenith introduces its 64" projection HDTV set and shortly after its 32" direct-view SDTV set, months ahead of the competition.

6. VSB royalties will kick in from a number of terrestrial broadcasters and from HDTV manufacturers.

7. Further restructuring by Gannon and Dangremond to cut costs.
