Paul, Seeing so many of your posts on Japan, its seems obvious you have a theory that happenings here will have a major economic effect in the near term. Could you kindly give us a summary of that. I for one am confused with the variety of issues that seem to be floating around here. 1. The capital adequacy of their banks and what happens if they fail to meet BIS standards. 2. The effect of the big bang on currency flows and valuations 3. The strength (or lack thereof) of the much discussed stimilus package. etc. etc. I am struggling to try and come it with a coherent scenario of what might happen depending on how these issues play out. All I've got so far is a sore head <g>. Be interested to hear your take. Michael
