"Dear Ian.... its a funny old world isn't it... I with the most bullish projection for december 31st 1999 am continually referred to by u as a bear...."

That sums up what has happened here. Reminds me of the quote,"what we have here is a failure to communicate." I remember when I thought Teri and Cary were too bullish in Sept.( My interpretation.) Aki has CLEARLY stated he will buy in the 20's, he is simply short term negative. Brian is willing to risk some downside, as am I, to catch the move toward 3 digits. BB holds shares he has had for years, as have I, but is accused of being bearish, because he wants more in the 20's. I have seen Ian's posts for 1 1/2 years I think, I don't ever remember him posting something as nasty as his post to Teri. Dave has been bearish since October 1996, so he has been as consistent as the night, and with plenty of consideration and facts supporting his position.

As Gottfried has said, EVERYONE seems to be long term bullish, and expects a double digit annual return over the next few years. Some just expect a bumpier ride than others. The arguements are over the logic behind the short term positions being taken.

Let's not let this collapse into personal attacks, like many other threads. Keep it clean, and if you go over the line briefly, as I have done from time to time, get back and apologize.

I appreciate your posts. I just wanted to add that the only way to stop the spiral of accusations (about "twisting of posts" or whatever) is to ignore them and respond only to the on-topic portions of the post. (I'm not saying it's easy, but I really do think it's the only thing that works.)
