Ike,

<< ... it is FA which gives specialisation and along with TA brings the finesse or coup de grace. One should couple the two and emphasise on FA more then TA. >>

You have said it quite well. You have been a tremendous source of my free investment education (thanfully so, because I couldn't afford to pay its worth).

In investment 101 you taught that one must understand not only the position of the market, but its short-term direction and the causal relationships that inter-play in the short-term, intermediate-term and the international outlook ... all this must be understood prior to "Wisely" being able to setup positions ... FA for sure!!

In Investment 302 you taught the meaning of identifying causal relationships and their outcomes. Discovering sectors that would benefit based upon certain actions and reactions. Taking action with regard to following trends and setting real or imaginary stops on the position or an index relative to the position. Looking for smooth sailing of a direction in the market became paramount to setting up, and maintaining, the ideal stock/option position. FA.

In Investment 409 you spoke of many and various different option strategies that may be employed when the appropriate timing presented itself. One idea you presented was the 2fer (Sell 1 put, buy 2 calls if you feel very strongly about the upward movement of a stock for the right FA reasons). Many other techniques including protectionary index puts were discussed.

Some freebies were given out at your After Hours Class in NYC! One such item included a daytraders dream trade of looking for 1/2 coverage of a meaningful decline in the SPX during the day ... it usually returns the other 1/2 by the days end. I will give away no more free secrets of this class!!! (But this is TA is it not)

What you said in the 1st paragraph above is what I drive for. When the FA is there and tells you "its a go NASA", I am the type that looks for TA confirmation and constant affirmation after "Lift-off". This is what I am hoping to get into a little here. I know where you stand on TA ... please tell me if I am correct ... I believe you do not follow TA closely, or at all, because you have grown to trust in the instincts that have been self-proven time and again in your experience. If this is true ... I lack experience!!! (or should I rather say ... profitable experience!!! GGG).

I have not expounded upon the many other thoughts and concepts learned for lack of space. All of which are truly appreciated IKE.
