It's pretty clear that Bernard has a way with the English language... nice posts for an amateur <g>. Must be that London schooling.

I spoke to him on the phone today, agreed vigorously with the recent practical and legal decision to shut off the rumor spigot on this thread, and picked up just a bit of non-specific info on "stuff in general." Like Mads, I am strangely confident right now that we will soon be hearing one or more concrete things from the company. Think about this: "One does not hype a questionable stock with silence." I want royalties if anyone quotes me <ggg>.

Thank you Bernard for the visits to our thread and for sharing your thoughts with us. My immediate expectations were largely met by your comments and I'm willing now to let AVAL go it's own way.

Regarding your experience with the internet hubris, please don't draw any conclusions that preclude it's use in the future. This media is extremely powerful and effective and even though it may be both emotionally challenging and time consuming it's not called the information superhighway in jest.

The easiest way to manage it effectively is to funnel your corporate exposure to a single site. All comments and concerns can be answered very effectively and less repetitively on AVAL's own website, especially if a thorough "Frequently Asked Questions" section is maintained.

As AVAL and internet usage grows you will find it unnecessary to manage most information requests by expensive telephone/fax or snail mail. E-mail discussion groups often shoulder the burden of inquiries that require rapid response, leaving the corporate telephone free for conducting necessary business.

I would love to communicate with you further but suggest it be by private message. One thing though that I highly recommend that you do immediately is to inquire to the webmistress regarding the removal of your home phone number from this thread. It could easily come to haunt you and I predict that at minimum, you will be forced eventually to change your number. If anyone on this thread disagrees, let them include their home number in their post! :-)

Prayerfully, Jon
