To all,

I have followed most of your posts for a couple of years and everyone seems uncharacteristically testy right now. In 1996 the prevailing sentiment was despair and last year (pre-October) AMAT was King. I can't remember seeing so much push-pull on this thread. I guess everyone, short-term, long-term, bulls and bears alike, is uncertain.

One more piece of the puzzle: JBIL, which does contract assembly and Arrow Electronics, which supplies electronic components, have both announced revenue slow-downs this week. I have been trying to put this information in with everything else that is going on. I have a hard time connecting this with the usual Asian explanation. It may be due to short-term inventory corrections, longer-term slowing in demand or ... Does anyone have ideas of what other information to look for to help clarify.

Dave

Teri, How mature. I'll be sure to respect your unbiased opinions now that I've read this. NOT.

Ian, ***OT***

I have TONS of information. I post almost none of it. Your "doctoring" of a report says
all anyone needs to know about integrity or lack thereof.

Please spare me one of your bullsh*t replies.

P.S. No need for a response. I've already read more from you than was of any value whatsoever.
