A friend of mine heard of Peacock just the other day. He bought a few shares today at $1.02. Why he bought, beats me? He heard that this stock, according to a tip will be at $10.00 sometime soon.

He asked me to check it out for him today because his brokerage firm couldn't give him much information.

I started with the stock quote and then went to a chart of performance. I pulled up quotes dating back to 7-22-96.
I see that for the past 2 years the stock has been in a range of between 1/8 and 1/4

Next I went to SI to check through any postings. I found a good deal of activity regarding the stock over the past week or so, but really no information of substance.

Next I went to EDGAR and read recent filings such as the 10K.
Peacock was incorporated 2-16-84 under the name Oravest International, Inc. and later changed its name to Camdon Holdings, Inc. and then American Temperature Control, Inc. then to Connectivity and technology, Inc.and then to Peacock Financial Corporation on
2-27-96.

But there is also the subsidiary of PCF, formed on 5-22-86.

Now on 2-27-96 Peacock Financial services completed an agreement and plan of reorganization and Peacock issued 7,767,702 shares common and 672,300 preferred stock in exchange for all common stock in PFC. Following this the name PFC was changed back to Peacock Financial Services.

I thought I read somewhere that there was a reverse split in the stock something like 1 share for every 100?

Anyone care to explain?

Thanks

<<You know what really amazes me? We've had maybe 3 or 4 contributors to this thread discussing probably the hottest stock of the past months. Meanwhile, hundreds of posts go by on companies that never will go anywhere, including a fair number of downright scams. Makes you wonder about human nature.>>

You know, It is confusing and at the same time somewhat distressing.

Hello LPasko
Human nature now that's something to try a figure out. I have to agree with you on the way this thread is rolling along. When I read some of the other thread around I see alot of bickering going on and a lot of name calling and thank Budda we don't have that here. ( yet )Sure I see that with PFCK there isn't a lot of tecknical information being passed around but sometimes that information can be very miss leading. For myself I use possitve news releases, other peoples insights, and simple how does the stock feel to me. And like some people I'm starting to wonder how high this stock will go ( att I have 12000 shares ) but until some negitive news or reports come out I'm going for the long haul on this one. Take care Douglas
