James,
As a matter of fact there was a plan of the Catholic Church called Toward Jerusalem Council 1 and 2. The leader of our congregation was invited to represent the Messianic Jewish Community on this council. We have had leaders of the Old Churches in Europe come and pray with us, and Marty our leader has gone to many meetings in Europe to pray with them for reconciliation. One of the first meetings was in France the weekend after the shooting and Marty had to leave right after it happened. I believe God is bringing about the reconciliation of Israel and the Church for it is close to the time of His return.
Last week Marty and others from our Congregation went to Spain to meet with Bishops and the heads of the Catholic Church to pray at the source of the Inquisitions for forgivenes and reconciliation from God. Thesse things as well as entire Synagogues accepting Yeshua as there Messiah all point to Gods plan. This can not make satan happy for we know how much he likes reconciliation, so hold on to your you know what. I would like all your prayers for the Toward Jerusalem 2 project for I know ex Catholics that say the original Toward Jerusalem 1 plan was to take over Jerusalem as the Center for the Church and they think the Church is using Marty to hurt the Jews in Israel. Please pray this will not be true and God will protect Marty and Israel. Doesn't the scriptures point to the Pope in the End as an enemy of Israel? I am not sure and sometimes people read so much into verses that I get confused. Anyway Prayer is the answer for He knows all things. Have a blessed day, Nancy
