El Plateado option to be terminated Cambior Inc CBJ Shares issued 70,556,000 Mar 19 close $8.40 Thu 19 Mar 98 News Release Mr Stephen Stow of Odin Mining reports Cambior Inc will be terminating its option over the El Plateado project in Ecuador in accordance with its rights under the letter of agreement dated March 5 1997. Cambior's financial dedication to grass-root exploration projects, together with the emphasis of copper targets instead of copper gold targets at El Plateado has resulted in Cambior's choice to withdraw from this opportunity. However, Odin is now looking for a new joint venture partner for El Plateado with the benefit of a full aeromag survey. Odin's remaining joint venture with Newmont is in good standing.
