Bob, I would think after the disasters at MUEI and the pre-announcement at Compaq that Gateway is sure to announce some bad stuff next month. However, there are two caveats. They may have saved some more "profits" for this quarter after their huge writeoff scam, ala the Forbes article, and investors may just ignore the disasters, again. I think you have to be against those "deus ex machina" bandaids and figure they are about to be unmasked. As such, I like May 40s and 35s. But, once again, I warn that this is a long term play with short term options, so if you don't use my 90/10 and thirds strategies for buying options, use something that lets you live to play another day if the bulls remain cerebraly numbed-out on this issue.
