REPLY TO ALL: When I discovered SI about a month ago, it was to research NYRR. I took the teckie approach and was a little irritated by off topic and nonsense chatter. Especially Jack. Well, I wrote Jill an e-mail last night (at 2 a.m. she was working!) to explain my metamorphsis from teckie to humanist, and that I think this board provides a forum for a lot of psychological stress release. This board is remarkable in having a large number of very estute writers who aren't afraid to let their hair down. And, there IS room for reasonable off topic in any thread. By the way, Jack and I are now great friends and the e-mail flys back and forth. So, Wayne and Ed, I like your style . . . keep it coming. 246810
