Re: IBM and MOT sitting in a tree ... Thanks for pointing that out. Duh!! I feel stupid. Of course their PowerPC venture goes way way back. With that piece of the puzzle in place, we see that IBM, perhaps determined to never let happen in the CPU space what happened to them in the OS space, has aided and abetted every enemy of Intel, past and present. Perhaps we should all get together, maybe with Paul Engel and few choice others and take advantage of the VC surplus out there to found a new CPU shop, since we know IBM will lend us a hand at the right time. <GGG> God bless, PX
