Ortec will pursue Humanitarian Use Device (''HUD'') designation from the FDA for use of CCS in the treatment of EB. This would allow Ortec to submit a marketing application (Humanitarian Device Expedition) more quickly than PMA. 2. Ortec will submit for FDA approval to begin pilot clinical trials using its CCS in the treatment of venous ulcers and diabetic ulcers.
