Clint whats your opinion on the bio techs specifically THRX and AVEI ?
I also like the CLEC/ISP sector though they seem to have had a nice
run up. I would appreciate your thoughts on WCOM, QWST,ICGX, ICIX.

Thanks
Anindo

Hi Clint,

I hate these analysts.... this is the second time it is happening to me. This happened to my SUNW short recently... they wiped out 50% of my profit in one fine sweep.

I covered ALTR short towards the close today but I am eager to see how it performs again and might short it again. Oh... ALTR has followed it's positive volume index really well in the past. So, if it is any indication it has more downside risk.

I am very uneasy taking long positions on semi's with the cloud hanging over their head. If the street sentiment ever turns against them I am sure they will be making 52 week low's soon.

I love LLTC fundamental. I am just waiting to take an investment position in it soon. Thanks for the tip. Only companies I am going long these day's are software/pharma.. sector. Check out the action in FORSF (thinly traded) but very interesting action.

>(I was short NVLS/XLNX ahead of MU but covered
> too early...story of my life!!!)

It sounds very similar to my story :)

Regards,

Suresh

Clint,
I have to wonder about these companies if we get any kind of correction. Most of the tech sector are middle of the road or lower in price and yet the OTC is gangbusters. If we get a correction, do you think it will be a flight to value into these stocks or that they would get further butchered. I am looking for entry points to increase positions but I feel very cautious at this point. Any info would be much appreciated.
Thanks,

David

PS. Take a look at CPFC. I am long this stock and there is a serious potential for a short squeeze. There are 5.7 million outstanding, 1.7 million floar, and 900,000-1.2 million short. The company just issued a press release regarding how this stock has been illegally shorted against a convertible debenture. It looks like things could begin to get interesting. This thread has some excellent contributors both short and long, so you folks let me know what you think.

Thanks again,
David

Hi Clint,

just finished listening to MANU conference call. I was impressed with the conference call. During the conference call they did mention that some of the brokerage houses were spreading news of problems in the sales dept of MANU creating some pressure on the stock. However, they said that they had no such problems. They did downplay the competition from ITWO and claimed that they had more wins in sales than ITWO in head to head competition. Did you have chance to look at the qtly result and/or listen to their conference call ?

Regards,

Suresh
