ATHM has been beaten down from 38 to 33 over the past week or so. Now the WSJ reports merger talks with Road Runner and ATHM ( At Home Corp) are on hold. This is not new news but may knock the stock lower. I have heard a fairly credible rumor that Microsoft may get into this game. They have a large interest in cable and by gaining an interest in ATHM they will secure the internet access through cable link that they have been planning on with prior investments in other cable concerns. ATHM may drop more but if the msft rumor comes to light it should rocket up.
