Steve. Just as fortunate, or maybe even more so, are those of us that were considering reallocating to a safer income:equities ratio and were convinced by Bob's continued bullishness and utter excitement in January for the prospects of the market to remain fully invested. I remember saying in 1994 after doing 20% (I had a good yr with my tech holdings) that this can not continue long. Well, here we are in 1998 and we're still flying.

Anyone remember Bob back then in 1994 saying how "IF the economy continues in the right direction and with the fall of the Berlin wall that the stock market could react like investor nirvana" or some words to that effect? WOW!

Even the dreaded "Rukyser Vacation Effect" has not stopped this raging bull market!

Truely amazing!
regards
Kirk out

Steve-In re: "Thank you Bob Brinker. How long will he remain
a relative secret?"

In some measure, the inspiration for this thread derived from
such an observation, i.e., the curious lack of publicity apper-
taining to Mr. Brinker and his remarkable market savvy. Indeed,
the introductory message of this thread more than hinted at the
seeming irony that Brinker, a Titan amongst market timers, lin-
gered behind the arras whilst a semi-comic blunderess basked
in the limelight of public adulation.

Some weeks ago, Brinker shed his own light onto this matter
in reply to a question not unlike yours. To recall it, Brinker
stated that, solicitations from the press notwithstanding, he or-
dinarily eschews press interviews and instead refers reporters
to his newsletter for his thoughts on the market. Paraphrasing
Brinker, "All I know about the market, I write in my newsletter."

I predict that Bob will punctuate this weekend's show with warnings of a looming market correction (a short term pull-back before taking out 9000) and ......

KO is ripe for shorting!
