Vepoc, that was one of the best descriptions of the underlying allure of Technical Analysis I have ever heard or read ! It is humorous , on target and insightful . In short, a polite way to explain witchcraft...-:)

Dear Vepoc and all:I use TA at the dog track.It goes like this,I look at speed,closing @ breaking ability,preference for the rail or outside post position etc.of each dog. Then I try to blot out all this TA and I gaze out at the TOTE board, I bet on whatever comes to me at this point. I pick stocks the same way, TA and intuition. By the way, I prefer a runner that can come from behind,thats why I own BAY...JOHN
