From the fool...

Fingerprint security systems firm Identix Inc. (AMEX:IDX - news) picked up $1/2 to $9 5/16 after announcing that its joint venture with educational services provider Sylvan Learning Systems (Nasdaq:SLVN - news) has started a program to make electronic fingerprinting available to the members of the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) for purposes such as cutting down on fraud in testing...

Brad, anyone who uses their first post to spread good IDX news deserves a Wendell IMO.

Happily Long IDX,
Duke

<<Are you the same Dave H. I think you are?>>

I don't know - but I doubt it as I had never posted before and I have
only been to Idaho once (beautiful) to go to a ranch so I don't think
we "know" each other.

I picked Dave H because there already was a David on this thread (and
it appears we both live in Washington DC to make things more confusing).
If I can ever be of help in the detective work going on here let me
know.

I appreciate the Wendell award for my first post, I see those are not
just given out to anyone.

For the record, I have been long IDX for the last 5 years - I have
bought as low as 3 and as high as 15. I currently own 10,000 shares
and I generally hold some call options (probably bought from Rob and
we know who is doing better there).

I will let all know when I get the RFP from the INS - usually takes
a couple of weeks for them to send it out.

Dave
