Sure. Everyone knows bear markets are only allowed to last one day.

Actually, the damn phones rang off the hook for the first half-hour so I did not get a chance to concentrate on getting short. A shame, as the SP8M dropped almost 7 points from the open in the first hour.

So, annoyed that I would now have to work almost all day, I actually "sucked it up" and went long at 1101.40

Sold 1/4 at 1103.80, 1105.00, and 1109.50, so I still have a quarter of a position left. If I did not lose so much at gin Wednesday night I'd cash the rest in and hit the golf course.

Anyway, it's been a profitable day.....I'm not as excited as Jerry, but it's been good.

Beware though.....when the bears start getting long what could be around the corner? Say, right after window-dressing and on April Fool's Day.
