Renee, I have been hoping for a 35 million deal for part of the license to POC. If this 100 million deal is true in some form, it seems I have underestimated the POC market. They indicate HP, which would be top noche partner,,,they have been making a good entry into testing instruments. Plus, they bring the computer abilities I feel are essential to a successful POC instrument. I also hear they are honest in their deals, relatively speaking.
Up to this point, I have not included POC in any estimates of what it could add as far as value, and this rumor of 100 million seems just to high. On the other hand, I have been caught off guard more than once.
I doubt price went up on this kind of rumor. Igen is just catching up to it's minimum worth.

Does the nature ad for Architect give any examples of dynamic range and sensitivity? My understanding of these technologies is that chemolum. technology is relatively limited compared to ECL (electrochemolum). It will be an improvement for Abbott, but not as capable as ECL.

I am prepared to enjoy the effects of such rumors, for in a situation where the available stock float is hardly adequate to serve the buyers they do serve to stir the pot. Some may even be true, but I hesitate to either believe or disbelieve what I read on the rumor mill. All things are possible and often you see things mentioned there which prove to be true, and even so, one would place faith in those things at considerable peril.
