Hank you are correct about one thing and only one thing, the 10 years spent in the pharma industry was a waste!

If Viagra is approved, the FDA will only approve Vasomax if

1) Vasomax is shown to be more efficacious or

2) Vasomax is shown to be efficacious in patients that do not respond to Viagra.

I have not heard nor seen anything regarding the Vasomax clinical trials that would indicate Vasomax would qualify for FDA approval on either of these counts. Make no mistake about it. This is a money driven business. Large drug companies do not spend millions of dollars developing potential block buster drugs just so they can sell them in places like Mexico. The developed countries of the world ARE their primary targets because that is where they will make money. If SGP truely believed they could get approval for Vasomax in the US, Canada, or Europe, then that is where their initial efforts would be focused.

Here's a trivia question for you or anybody that thinks they can answer-

How many new drugs with a billion dollar a year potential have been marketed by major US based pharmaceutical companies in places like Mexico and/or other third world countries BEFORE being submitted for approval in the US, Canada, or Europe?

Here's a hint- the answer has the number zero in it.

One more point. You mentioned side effects. If Vasomax can be shown to be as effective as Viagra but SIGNIFICANTLY safer- ie fewer and less severe side effects, then it may stand a chance of getting approval. However, I also do not see any evidence that Vasomax is even as effective Viagra or, for that matter, even close. Therefore, I do not see FDA approval as very likely and, as I just stated, the decision by SGP to market in Mexico seems to bear this out.
