Laetrile was in fact also manufactured for a period in the 70's in the U.S. It is derived from apricot kernels and was produced in both oral and injectable formulas. Production was tied to the posse comitatis, the company was seized and after a lengthy case settled. Doctors surprisingly were excellent customers of this product and sold it via black market.

Products in the initial testing phases are often tested outside of the U.S. by smaller companies, and because of world wide recognition of protocol standards in Mexico, Argentina, and Chile, are very acceptable to the vast majority of countries. It greatly reduces the costs for companies with limited budgets.

Larger companies naturally do not need to initially circumvent the FDA. To read too much into this may be a mistake when one recognizes the market acceptance worldwide of testing in Mexico.

I have no opinion on Zona but have worked with the University of Miami, University of Ohio, on a joint project in this area 7 years ago for a short period of time.

I just did a quick search and laetrile appears to be a relative of B-12. It is also for sale in the US now as a dietary supplement. What do you think the chances are that Vasomax will be allowed to sell as a dietary supplement? What an angle. Maybe I should notify SGP's marketing department!
