Eugene,

The comment was directed at the analysis result and the likely exclusion of highly pertinent facts and factors; it was not directed at the person. The conditions that led to AMAT trading at 1*Sales recently, just don't exist today.

In the post immediately following yours (the one I'm replying to), Teri has posted an 11 day old bearish AMAT story which has probably been posted multiple times before.

Should the bulls respond by publishing the more recent and more bullish Lehman Brothers synopsis of the Analysts meeting with AMAT?

I think not.

Should I reiterate the same reasons I've given for a positive AMAT outlook a few dozen times hoping that if I say it often enough, I'll convince myself?

I think not. I'm already convinced.

Will people be able to buy AMAT at a lower price than whatever this minute's quote is? Almost certainly.

Will those who wait to get the absolute bottom miss out on the opportunity? Almost certainly.

Does it matter to me? Not really. But if it does make it to the mid 20s again, I'll add to my position. And if it makes it to the low teens, I'll establish at least 3 whole positions.

Best regards,
Ian.
